Comprehending the Incomprehensible!
Did you know that God expects you to know that which is incomprehensible? Now, something that is incomprehensible is something that we cannot comprehend. To comprehend is to grasp the nature, significance or of meaning of something. How on earth are we supposed to comprehend something that God Himself said is beyond our comprehension?
This incomprehensible thing that we are supposed to have full comprehensive knowledge of is called “His Love”. Simply put, God’s love is not something that is found in this realm called earth. It is not found in nature, it is not found in relationships, it is not found in the universe. It is only comprehensible in another realm or dimension, and that is the realm of heaven.
This means that you have to leave the planet and go somewhere else. Very funny! How do we “leave the planet” and go to heaven to learn about this love? 😊 Truthfully, it is a lot easier than you think. It is closer to you than the air you breathe, than the things you see, or hear, or smell, taste or touch. There is a place that is fully consumed by this love and it is your heart. However, you do have to go into your heart to find it and this is only done through fellowshipping in prayer with the Lord.
Ephesians 3:19 How deeply intimate and far reaching is His love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement, beyond academic knowledge – this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fulness of God! (TPT)
When you learn to enter into the secret place, this deep private space, something changes in your spirit, soul and body. There is a union that happens, a pleasure and a joy together with an incomprehensible peace, that starts to take over your mind. It is not something that you can explain to others or have someone explain to you. It is beyond this comprehensible realm. The comprehension of God’s immeasurable, incomprehensible love is something you experience within you and is personal and intimate.
I encourage you to make seeking the incomprehensible love that God has for you your primary goal in life. See how much of it you can engage with. How much of it can you stand without dying? How daring are you to become fully consumed with this incredible love? Will you dare to pursue Him above all else?
