Ephesus 9

In all the letters Jesus writes to His Beloved Church He introduces a Being who is highly prized and esteemed by Him and the Father.

This is none other than the Magnificent, Glorious, Awesome, Powerful, and Majestic Holy Spirit.

Once the Lord has revealed himself to you and dealt with you and the issues you have to work on, He hands you over to the work of the Holy Spirit. Jesus instructs us to pay careful attention to what the Holy Spirit is saying to the Churches. Why? I believe it is because the Holy Spirit is the One who takes all that the Lord has said and perfects it in you.

Jesus said that the Holy Spirit would take what is His and reveal it to you. He will guide you into all the truth that is in Jesus. And He is the One who shows you things to come. There is a beautiful synergy that happens between you, Jesus and the Holy Spirit when you open your ears to hear what He is saying.

John 16:13-16 But when the Friend comes, the Spirit of Truth, He will take you by the hand and guide you into all the truth there is. He won’t draw attention to Himself but will make sense out of what is about to happen and indeed out of all that I have done and said. He will honour Me; He will take from Me and deliver it to you. Everything the Father has is also Mine. That is why I said, “He takes from Me and delivers to you.” (MSG)

Throughout Revelation you will discover the unique way the Trinity work together. They are always closely related and interactive with each other and in what the Other is doing. In your life there will be times where you are more conscious of the Father, or Jesus, or the Holy Spirit. As you grow in your ability to hear, see, and understand the things of the Kingdom of God and Heaven, you will become aware of Who is presently working with you. Sometimes they are all working with you at once – like having dinner with friends. 😊

The Holy Spirit will teach and train you in who you are in the Kingdom and your function in it. He will reveal the Father and the Lord. He will show you and teach you in the court systems in heaven, the power of the resurrection, the fellowship and communion/communication systems, the mastery of love, the power of the cross, the authority of His name, the potency of the blood, the reign of righteousness, etc.

The revelation of Jesus Christ in you is more than just knowledge. Jesus said His words are spirit and they are life. His words are living experiences in the kingdom of heaven. Also, as Jesus reveals Himself, He is also revealing who you are because you are the exact representation and image of who He is. This revelation is the revelation of Christ in you, the hope of glory. You are not separate from Him. You are one with Him.

As much as this glorious revelation is about Jesus it is also about how glorious His church is. His church is by far the most magnificent and glorious creation that exists. There is nothing in or out of this universe that comes close to the magnificent beauty and power of His sons and daughters.

The word church or Ecclesia comes from the word origin (birth) and surname. We, as the church, have been born of God and we bear His surname, which is Christ. Our identity comes from our Father’s name in heaven, and what a glorious name it is.

And what a glorious, magnificent, and powerful, creation you are!
