Good Day
Did you arise today with thanksgiving in your heart? Did you arise with “Hello DADDY/FATHER! Thank You for a new day! Thank you for all the good things you have given to me! Thank You! Thank You! Thank YOU!”
If you did not, then please take a moment to give Him thanks for all He has done for you. Thank Him for saving you and that your name is written in the Lambs book of life.
One of the most powerful ways to change your life is through being thankful. In life we come across so much BAD news, whose only goal is to create fear and depression, that we lose sight of all the good things around us and forget to be thankful.
Outside of the general TV news media (which belongs to Satan, known as the father of lies), I notice a lot of negative posts on social media. In particular, I use Facebook, so I am restricting my comments to Facebook. I see wonderful, uplifting and encouraging posts on Facebook but then there are the depressing and hateful ones to.
My goal is not, and never will be, to address the negative posts that appear on Facebook. My goal is to address the posts we send out as representatives and ambassadors of Christ. We have been entrusted with what we, as believers, put out into the world and Jesus clearly tells us what we are supposed to be promoting. I’m using the word “promoting” because we share the things we are emotionally attached to in our thoughts. These are powerful, and we are either going to increase the level of fear or faith in another believer.
Philippians 4:8 So keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honourable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising Him always. (TPT)
It is so easy to be pleasing to the Lord in social media. Social media is not evil, in fact it is one of the greatest tools we have to promote the knowledge of our Saviour. All we need to do is check that the thing we are about to post is in line with the above Scripture. If it is, post it and encourage as many people as you can. If it is not, then don’t touch it!
Let everything you do, be it on social media, at work or at home with family and friends, be encouraging, uplifting and comforting. In this way you will find an abundance of favour coming your way, both from God and those around you. Keep your thoughts fixed on Jesus, where He is seated on an eternal throne and remember, you are only passing through this world. It is not your home. It is not your final destination and the only things you take with you are the treasures you have stored up in heaven for that wonderful day where the Lord has the privilege of saying,
“Thank you for considering Me and My kingdom. You did really well. Here are your rewards 😊!”
Let’s become an aggressive “good news only” army and let’s see our Father’s kingdom come!
Have a “GOOD” day 😁😁
