Heavenly Projections

There is an image that heaven is projecting upon you.

It is the image of the Lord Jesus Christ and it is this image that the Holy Spirit uses to transform you. To transform means to change somethings form and structure. In order for you to be transformed into His image you need to be changed from your current form and structure into another.

This is what the resurrection is all about. You are being transformed from your current form – who you think you are and what you think you look like – into the same resurrected Being that Jesus now is. When Jesus rose from the dead He no longer looked the same. When you rise from the dead you will not look the same either. However, transforming into His image is a process. You are a work in progress.

We all draw close to Him with the veil removed from our faces. And with no veil we become like mirrors who brightly reflect the glory of the Lord Jesus. We are being transfigured into His very image as we move from one brighter level of glory to another. And this glorious transfiguration comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. (2 Corinthians 3:18 TPT)

As you draw close to the Lord, which happens when you focus your thoughts, emotions and imagination, towards Him, that this mysterious and magical transfiguration takes place. The veil, or image of this world and who you are here, gets removed from before your face and the image of the Lord Jesus develops before your eyes. As you behold Him He is able to project His image upon you and the Holy Spirit then uses this connection to transform you from the inside out.

The more you draw close to Him the brighter you become. When the Holy Spirit is finished with you, you will shine and look just like the One whose image you treasured in your heart. The more you allow yourself to see Him and accept His image of you as your image of yourself, that you become one with Him. Becoming one with the Lord is simply taking on His image of you which is being beamed upon you from heaven. Heaven sees you complete in Jesus.

Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in His eyes. (Romans 12:2 TPT)

Be playful, joyful and thankful as you draw near to Jesus. It is in childlike faith, or through happy playfulness, that you engage with the reality of the images of Jesus and the kingdom of heaven in your imagination. This is where He meets with you, and as you enjoy His company and delight in the things He shows you, that you become like Him. Prayer, without delight and playfulness is nothing more than powerless religious labour.

I encourage you to take time out to just let your imagination, thoughts and feelings, to be free and to enjoy being with the Lord. He is always there and when you put aside the imaginations of this world, you will find the joy and ecstasy of His presence.

Have an ecstatic day! 😊
