Heavenly Throne 12
Today I want to freak you out a little! 😂😂
If the Book of Revelation is a multi-dimensional mystery or puzzle, we would have to look at what dimensions, or heavenly places, really are. Are they real, are they imaginary, or are they only physical? Why are there so many numbers used in Revelation and elsewhere throughout the Bible?
I’m trying to get to the lamp stands but before John uses the word lamp stands, he uses the word seven. There were seven lamp stands. Why seven? And then keep in mind that we are looking at a three- or four-dimensional image not a straight line. Have you ever noticed that nothing in creation is either one or two dimensional? Even things we draw on paper has dimensions. A piece of string has dimensions. Everything has dimensions. So, would it be possible that the word seven might be symbolic of different heavenly realms? If so, then how do we put it all together? I Don’t know, but the thoughts are fun none the less.
Coming back to our flow – spirit, soul and body – this is three dimensional. We also know that the spirit and soul are not physical elements like out body. However, that does not make them any less real. Paul prayed that our whole spirit, and soul, and body would be preserved blameless at His coming. For a very long time I heard and taught that we are a spirit, we have a soul (mind), and we live in a body. But this is NOT what the Bible says. It specifically states that you are a spirit, you are a soul, you are a body, and then there is also the heart. Each one of these has its own purpose and function as well as its own ability to think, communicate and act independently. Just like the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are three individuals but function as One, we are three individuals that function as one. Think about it.
By the way, your body is not “the flesh” that Paul says we are to crucify. You cannot crucify yourself, but you can crucify someone or something else. The flesh that we are supposed to crucify are thoughts and imaginations that exalt themselves against the knowledge of Christ or who Jesus has revealed Himself to be. I think crucifying our false identity will come up a lot as we go through Revelation.
But for now, we are looking at seven being seven possible dimensions. Then, there are lots of seven things mentioned and what if they all overlap or exist in the same dimension or sphere at the same time? Remembering that Jesus is the Beginning and the End, the One who WAS, who IS and who IS TO COME, the Almighty. He is also the same yesterday, today and forever. Yesterday He was the God of Love, today He is the God of Love and tomorrow He will still be the God of Love. He was in you, He is in you, He always will be in you and you in Him.
Here is a list of sevens that Jesus reveals in Revelation. How do they all fit together? Seven is the number of perfection and completion. If this is the case then all these things are necessary to bring us into perfection and remember, all these things reveal JESUS CHRIST not the devil.
There are seven churches, seven spirits, seven lamp stands, seven stars, seven lamps, seven seals, seven horns, seven eyes, seven angels, seven trumpets, seven thunders, seven thousand, seven heads, seven crowns, seven plagues, seven bowls, seven mountains, seven kings. Then there are also seven “blessed,” seven attributes of the Lamb and then there are also other numbers which have multiples of seven. There are many more elsewhere in Scripture.
How many heavenly places are there? Do they all exist in one realm or in multiple realms? If it’s only in one realm, which one is it? If there are more then what are we going to do about it? How are we supposed to go there and what are we supposed to do there? Tell me what you think and don’t take anything I say as the only truth. Go to the Father and ask Him to show you, because the only thing that matters is your relationship with Him and what He reveals to you.
Have an imaginative day! 🤔😏😁
