My Faith’s Not Working!

Have you ever felt so frustrated because the things you have asked and prayed for just don’t seem to get answered? You do your best to be good, to do what is right, to please God, to honour and serve Him yet nothing changes. How are you supposed to get out of a mess if everything just seems to fall on deaf ears?

One thing you need to understand is that God’s ears are not deaf. He knows every thought and word that passes through your mind and proceeds from your mouth before you have ever thought of or spoken them. Unanswered prayer is not a matter of God not hearing you neither is it because He does not want to answer you. He does. He knows the godly desires of your heart and desperately wants to meet all of them.

So where is the problem? Could it be because you do not have enough faith? Maybe, if you increased your faith you would have the answers? Could it be because of some sin or weakness or failure in your life? Maybe, if you were more perfect in your behavior you would have answers. NO! No, no, no! There is only ONE reason that your faith is not working and that is because of love. Faith works by love. Without love faith has no power to perform or release the things you desire.

AND THIS IS NOT YOUR LACK OF LOVE!! NO AMOUNT OF LOVE THAT YOU HAVE OR DISPLAY WILL MAKE YOUR FAITH WORK!!

IT IS THE MEASURE OF HIS LOVE FOR YOU, THAT YOU EXPERIENCE PERSONALLY, THAT CAUSES YOUR FAITH TO WORK.

Therefore, if you are having “faith” issues, your issue is not that you do not have enough love, but that you do not have enough experience in HIS LOVE FOR YOU. You need to know that you are worthy. You are holy. You are righteous.

YOU ARE THE ONE THAT GOD ADORES!

Trust in His love for you. Stop depending upon yourself and your own goodness. That’s what makes you weak and causes you to fail. You do not need to perform to earn His love. JESUS PERFORMED FOR YOU, HE DIED FOR YOU, so that you would not have to perform but only receive and enjoy His great love for you.
