I hope you understand how dangerous you are to the realm of darkness, and how aggressive this world is against the message of Jesus Christ in you. Question: Why are they like that and what are they after? Jesus said …

But I come swiftly, so cling tightly to what you have, so that no one can seize your crown of victory. (Rev 3:11)

Satan and his forces are after your crown of victory. What is so special and precious about this crown? Is this crown physical, is it spiritual, or is it a metaphor? I think we can all agree that Jesus is not referring to a physical crown like that a king wears while here on earth. Therefore, this crown is something that exists in the realm of the spirit, and it represents your victory over “the hour of trial that comes to test every person on earth” which I think has to do with hours where you face tremendous tribulation and the hour of your physical death.

Your crown of victory has to do with your power and authority as a king and a priest in the kingdom of heaven. (Rev 1:6) As a child of God Jesus has given you two positions of authority. One is as a priest and the other as a king. He has given you your life to govern with your words and because your life belongs to Him, you will give Him an accounting for what your words produced in this world. As a priest you offer up prayers and sacrifices on behalf of people, as a king you release declarations of blessing over people and decrees against principalities, powers, rulers of darkness and spiritual wickedness in heavenly places.

In all seven letters to His church Jesus is looking for those who overcome the enemy of their soul. He speaks to the Church corporately and to you as an individual. He reveals Himself to you first, educates and instructs you about what you should be doing and what you should be ruling over. If you are successful in overcoming the enemies of your kingdom and ministering to Him, then there are rewards waiting for you. These rewards are eternal. However, you are already an eternal child of God. Eternal life does not begin when your body dies, it began when you were born into His kingdom. Your responsibility to rule this kingdom (your life) which He has given you has already begun.

The victor’s crown is awarded to you for your life as His child on earth and how you served the Father. A crown also represents your thought life and your word life for the power of life and death is in your mouth. A mature Christian is a person who controls their tongue.  They are thoughtful about what they say and when they say it. Your life is not about your status, your wealth, your health, or your possessions – it is about your words!

I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give an account for every thoughtless word they have uttered,  because by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.” (Mat 12:36-37)

This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the LORD your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the LORD is your life, and he will give you many years in the land (Deut 30:19-20

Your victor’s crown that those who are of the synagogue of Satan want to steal is your voice which activates the kingdom of heaven and hell. And notice that you will not give an account on the day of judgment (or accountability) for your words that activated life but those that brought forth death.

Love and blessings

Jesus told the saints in Philadelphia that He was coming swiftly and to hold on till He comes so that no one would steal their crowns. But they all died before He came back. Now what? What is going on here?
