Have you ever been frustrated because you just don’t seem to be winning the battles in your life? In the Kingdom Secrets series, we saw how Satan, with the use of the worlds systems, comes to do battle against us for the sake of stealing, killing or destroying the Word, or the Voice, of Jesus within us. His goal is to prevent us from being able to have the kingdom of heaven manifest in our lives.

Now, if you are in a battle it would be wise to know your enemy and how to attack and overcome him. In Ephesians the Lord reveals who our fight is against, how to fight, and how to be dressed. If you lack in any one of these areas, you will find yourself in a position where the enemy can gain access to the Word that is within you.

Remember, Satan is NOT after YOU, he is after the VOICE of the LORD within you!

Take some time to think about the following Scriptures because we are going to have some fun together getting ourselves ready. This is a great key to remember when you get ready for battle, you MUST be having FUN!

Having FUN, being joyful, thankful, happy and playful is seriously powerful. Unfortunately, we are not trained for fun, we are trained to be serious and aggressive. However, the later will not release the kingdom of heaven, it will block it.

Jesus said that unless we come as little children we would not enter into the kingdom of heaven. This does not mean we are not allowed to, it simply means we are on a path that does not lead to the things of heaven. Have you noticed that when children play, they enter the world of “make believe” and there is no end to their imagination or their fun? Sadly, this ability to play and have fun is an art that we are quickly told to “grow up” from.

For many of us going back into the world of the imagination where we are allowed to have fun and play “life” in the kingdom of heaven, is a seriously foreign and “unacceptable” thing to do. Yet Jesus said that the kingdom of heaven is populated by little children. That means our Father sees us as little children! We see ourselves as serious adults that have to be responsible citizens and not given to childhood fantasies!

Now, I agree, our childhood fantasies are not going to get us anywhere, BUT our heavenly fantasies will take us to places beyond our wildest imaginations! And this is where the Lord wants to take you. He knows that when you connect with the joy of heaven there is NOTHING that this world can do to prevent heaven from coming in your life!

So, think about the following Scripture but read it from the position of having fun with what you are going to do. (Written as though Jesus was speaking directly to you.)

Now, my beloved one, I have saved the best of all that I am teaching you for last. Be supernaturally infused with the strength of joy (fun) through your life-union with Me. Stand victorious with the force of My explosive power flowing in and through you.

Put on the My complete set of armour that Daddy has provided for you, so that you will be protected as you fight against the evil strategies of the accuser. Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. For they are a powerful class of demon-gods and evil spirits that hold this dark world in bondage.

Because of this you must wear all the armour that God provides so that you will be protected as you confront the slanderer, for you are destined for all things and you will rise victorious.

Put on the truth as a belt to strengthen you to stand in triumph. Put on holiness as the protective armour that covers your heart. Stand on your feet alert, then you will always be ready to share the blessings of peace as you subdue your enemies.

In every battle take faith as your wrap-around shield, for it is able to extinguish the blazing arrows coming at you from the evil one.

Embrace the power of salvation’s full deliverance, like a helmet to protect your thoughts from lies. And take the mighty Spirit-sword of the spoken Word of God. (Voice of Jesus within you).

Pray passionately in the Spirit, as you constantly intercede with every form of prayer at all times. Pray the blessings of god upon all His believers. (Ephesians 6:10-18)
