Receiving from God

Are you aware that you are one of God’s seeds, or offspring, that He has sown among the nations? I pray that as one of His Seeds you come into the full revelation of who you really are, and who you are in Him.

And, as His holy seed, I write to you as His servant, to love and encourage you.

When it seems as though you are facing nothing but trouble, hardship and pain, see it as an invaluable opportunity to experience all the joy that you can! You need to know and understand that when your faith is being tested, it stirs up and releases the power within you to endure all things. And, as the process of time passes, and your endurance grows stronger, it will release God’s perfection into every part of your being, until there is nothing missing and nothing lacking.

If you desire to be wise, then ask God for WISDOM and He will give it to you.

Herein lies your solution. It is not in the removal of the test but in learning to walk in His wisdom. He does not see your request for wisdom as a failure or weakness. Neither does He see it as something He needs to scold you for. Rather, He sees it as a wonderful opportunity to overwhelm you with His love and grace.

When you come and ask for wisdom, make sure you come in with a confident attitude that is full of faith and not in shyness and doubt. If you doubt you cannot receive. You cannot connect to God if you are full of faith one minute and then doubt the next minute. Once you have made up your mind to believe, be confident, stay confident and expect to receive. Being undecided makes you like a stormy sea driven and tossed around by the wind! Being half hearted and wavering makes you unstable. Can you really expect to receive anything from the Lord when you are in that condition?

If you are poor, or struggling financially, you still have reason to boast as God has put you in a high place. And if you are rich, boast in the fact that He has brought you down to a place where you cannot trust in your riches or worldly status. One is lifted high, the other is brought down, so that both can obtain the same place of salvation in the Lord. All earthly glory will one day fade away like a wildflower in the veld. In the scorching heat the flowers petals fade and fall away and it loses its beauty. So, it will be with all who seek worldly wealth – it will all fade away. It has no eternal value.

However, if your faith towards God remains strong, even though you are surrounded by life’s difficulties, you will continue to experience the untold blessings of God! True happiness comes as you pass the tests you face with faith, and you will receive the victorious crown of life which God has promised to all those who love Him.

Now be careful not to blame God when you are being tempted to get angry and need to find someone to blame. Don’t accuse God of being the One that is the cause of your difficulties. He does not get tempted by that which is evil, neither is He the source of that which is evil. Don’t blame God for the things Satan is responsible for – death, destruction, poverty, pain, sickness, disease and every other thing that causes destruction in your life.

Recognise that it is your own desires and thoughts that drag you into evil and lure you away into darkness. Evil desires give birth to evil actions! And when your sin is fully matured, has you firmly in agreement with it, that it will arise and kill you!

So, my friend, don’t be fooled by your own desires!

Every gift that God gives you is free, good, and perfect and streams down from the Father of Lights, your Father, who shines on you from the heavens with no hidden shadow or darkness, and He never changes His mind. He was delighted to give birth to you through His infallible Word so that you would fulfil His chosen destiny for you and become one of His favourite ones in all of creation!

Remember, the key to your success is Wisdom, so ask God, endure, be victorious!

Lots of love 😊

God’s Perspective

The Lord gave me a revelation several years ago while planning the move from Joburg to Wilderness. From the time we made the decision to the actual move date was three weeks. In that time I had to arrange the packing of the house, putting plans in place and appointing a new manager in the business, and a host of other things that required attention. It was stressful and exhilarating all at the same time.
