Ruler Over All Creation
Loadicea
Last, but not least, Jesus reveals Himself to His beloved saints as the One who is the Ruler over all Creation. This is hotly contested by many ungodly theories and philosophies in this world which defy the rulership of Jesus Christ. I am not going to go into these theories and philosophies, but it is important for you to have established what you believe concerning Jesus being the Supreme Creator of all things in your own heart.
Remember, Jesus has just finished assuring the saints that He is faithful and true to His word. He is trustworthy as the Amen, the author and finisher of our faith. Who He is, is intricately linked to His next revelation of Himself as the Ruler over all creation. A firm faith in Jesus as the Ruler over all creation is crucial to you if you want Him to award you a position of rulership with Him on His throne.
Why is Jesus as Creator important?
For in him all things were created: things created in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, or powers, or rulers, or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.
Colossians 1:16
Why is believing that Jesus is the Ruler over all creation so important? Because His Word, His Voice, is the creative power of the universe and His Word holds all things together. When you remove Jesus as the Creator you also remove His power and authority. As a result, your accountability towards Jesus as the eternal Judge is disregarded. When this happens it leads to a life dependent upon money and financial status which leads to a spiritual blindness to the things that are of eternal value. Worst of all it closes the door to a person’s heart and prevents the Lord from being able to fellowship with them.
This is the trap that the saints in Laodicea had fallen into.
“You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.“
Revelation 3:16
Thoughts and Words
Please note, the issue is not their salvation but their faith in themselves as “I am!” These are saints, God’s sons, and daughters, who have placed their faith in the things of this world instead of the kingdom of heaven. Neither is Jesus having an issue with their wealth and riches.
His issue is with their thoughts and words!
They had forgotten who gave them their power and ability in the first place. They had forgotten that they were created for His glory, to fellowship with Him and to be heirs of the Father’s kingdom with Him.
John, To the seven churches in the province of Asia: Grace and peace to you from him who is, and who was, and who is to come, and from the seven spirits before his throne, and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth.
To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.
“Look, he is coming with the clouds,” and “every eye will see him, even those who pierced him”; and all peoples on earth “will mourn because of him.” So shall it be! Amen. “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”
Revelation 1:4-8
You are His Creation
The Lord has personally created you and made you for His glory. He calls you by your name. The one thing that irritates the Lord more than anything else is when you have forgotten who you are and the eternal glory which He has purposed for you. The highest honor He desires to bestow on you is your eternal power and dominion. And He will do whatever it takes to get your attention to engage with Him and not this world. He wants you seated on His throne with Him!
And He is coming for you! 😂
The war between the saints and the ungodly is increasing. Thank you for subscribing. It’s free and it will keep you connected and encouraged. As social media controls become more censored it may become more difficult for the saints to communicate with each other. Please like our FB page. For instance, likes help us increase our connectivity with others. They too can then be encouraged in their walk with the Lord.
He is as sure as Amen! Thank you.
