Sardis 25
It is week two of 2021 and awesome things are ahead of us. 😊 I don’t care how bleak a picture the worlds media paint concerning the future, because they never consider the power of the Most High God and His church. Their picture is therefore not true. Before us lies the fulness of the kingdom of heaven which is coming to earth.
This year I dare you to read the Revelation of Jesus Christ as often as possible. And when reading it look for GOD in it, not the devil. Wherever you see darkness look for what God is doing in and through the church – His temple – and you will start discerning what’s really going on. And you play a vital role in the coming of His kingdom.
Today I’m going to continue with Jesus’ letter to Sardis.
Remember, Jesus begins this letter by revealing very powerful beings that work with Him and with you in the heavenly realms. I find this fascinating. Why would Jesus reveal powerful heavenly beings to a church that He considers “dead?”
Write the following to the messenger (angel) of the congregation (church) in Sardis, for these are the words of the One who holds the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars. I know all that you do and that you have a reputation for being alive, but you are actually dead!
Wake up and strengthen all that remains before it dies, for I haven’t found your works to be perfect in the sight of my God. Rev 3:2 (TPT)
The words “wake up” mean to become conscious of. In this you can see that it was not their outward church activity and power gifts they were operating in that made them conscious of heavenly things. They had forgotten their high calling, their first love, which they had in the beginning of their walk with the Lord. They had lost their inner love relationship with Him because they were so busy with their service.
This reminds you of the incident between Mary and Martha. Jesus had come to visit the sisters and Martha had a house full of guests. I mean, what would you do if Jesus came to your house with all His disciples? Someone must serve them and in Jesus day this service fell to the women. And here her sister is sitting at Jesus feet with everyone else, leaving Martha to serve them all. This was just too much for Martha and she complained to Jesus about Mary’s laziness. But instead of Jesus commending Martha for her servants’ heart He commends Mary. Why? Because she sat at His feet drinking in every word He said with abandoned love and appreciation for Him and Him alone. Mary’s heart was enchanted by His presence, Martha’s heart was consumed by service. (Lk 10:38-42)
Today Jesus lives in your “house”, your physical body. He is not looking for you to serve Him outwardly because that is not where He is. He is within you and wants you to be fully conscious of His presence within you. This is where you sit at His feet with rapt attention. This is where you communicate with Him and go on heavenly excursions. Here, in your conscience is where you become one with Him. Here your love for Him grows. This is what “being alive” means to Jesus.
Loving the Lord with all your heart, and soul, and strength is all done within your conscience. It is in your mind that you fellowship with Him. It is here where obedience to Him happens. It is here, in a conscience that is awake that the Son of God becomes the Son of Man, and it is here where you as the son of man also become the son of God.
I pray that your conscience becomes totally enraptured with love and adoration with the One who loves you more than you can imagine.
Be blessed 🎉

Thank you so much for this revelation. Sitting at the Lord’s feet and being enchanted by Him!
This is my time for rebirth.
May God continue using you as ‘my’ guide to His love.
