Smyrna 10
Knowing Jesus as The End, the Last, the Omega, the Tav, or the Finisher is quite unique. As is everything about Jesus! When Scripture says there is no one like Him it’s true. He is unique, amazing, profound, spectacular, glorious … and the list goes on.
However, here is a unique thought. You are being transformed into His image and likeness. While you may not look like it in this present darkness, the truth is that your end is that you will appear and manifest exactly like Him. It is this image that Jesus calls you to look upon, when you look at Him in heaven. He is pure light, pure love, pure life, and so are you. Jesus never calls you to look at yourself in your fallen state because you are no longer ‘fallen.’
Today, you are His glorious possession and He sees you fully complete in Him because He sees the end from the beginning. He is not the one that has a problem with your image, you do. He is not the one that has a problem with your sin, you do. He does not have a problem with calling you righteous, you do. He calls you righteous, holy, blameless, perfect, without fault or criticism. The question is, “What do you say about yourself? For whatever you say about yourself is in truth what you are saying about your Father.
Think about that for a while. When you come before God how do you see yourself. How you see yourself will greatly affect your interaction and experiences with Him.
How do you see Jesus, now, as He is in heaven, not as He was on earth? Do you have a heavenly image of Jesus? Look again at how John describes Him.
Revelations 1:12-16 I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned, I saw seven golden lampstands, and among the lampstands was someone “like a son of man,” dressed in a robe reaching down to His feet with a golden sash around His chest. His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes were like burning fire. His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and His voice was like the sound of rushing waters. In His right hand He held seven stars, and out of his mouth came a sharp double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.
Is this the image you have of Jesus when you ‘see’ Him? If not, take ‘time out’ in your prayer times to get to know Him as He is now. Read the above passage till you know it. Think about it. Then, close your eyes, begin to pray in tongues as you think about how Jesus is described. Talk to Him about it. Ask Him to reveal Himself to you in your imagination. Take note of how you feel and what you think. Do this every time you go into prayer. Get to know who your God is.
The first thing Jesus revealed to John about Himself is that He is the Beginning and the End. In your walk with the Lord the first thing you ought to know about Him is who He is as the Beginning and the End. We have already glimpsed at who He is as the Beginning, but what does He mean by the End?
I will leave you to ponder these things and pray that you have marvelous, personal, and intimate encounters with Him as you come to know Him as your Beginning and your End.
And remember, YOU ARE HIS END!
Have a wonderful day. 💛✨

Thanks Yvonne. In our congregation over the last couple of years there has been a strong emphasis on us as his body being transformed, reformed, reconfigured in His image to accurately represent Him. I have been meditating on what the Father said of the Son during his earthly walk. Mt 12:18 Look well at my much loved servant; I love him so much, take so much delight in him. The mere sound of his name will signal hope, even among far-off unbelievers. (Ps 34:5 Those who look to him are radiant. i.e. transformed like Moses and Stephen) Second thing the Father said: Lk 9:35 This is my beloved son, hear him
Thanks and praise be to God. Everytime He uses you when you send your emails to lift my spirit.
Bless the Lord God our Father, who made all this possible. His beauty and all splendor is indescribable and He loves us!
Comment…Thanks. out of the description of I get a clearer image of my saviour.
Amen
