Jesus makes this incredibly wonderful promise to those who overcome the satanic attacks that come against them, and that is the victors crown of life.

What is the significance of this wonderful crown? And why would you want or need it in eternity? I hope you ask these kinds of questions when you fellowship with the Lord, and when you do I pray He takes you into the realms of the kingdom and brings them to life for you.

The crown of life is just one of the crowns mentioned in Scripture, but this crown Jesus gives priority to here in the letter to His beloved saints suffering under the horrible attacks of the devil. A crown is given to a king! Kings rule and reign! Kings wear crowns! The crown identifies the king!

Imagine, here you come before the Lord at the end of all the tests and trials and He stands up, gets of His throne, sits you down upon it next to the Father, and puts this beautiful crown on your head and anoints you as a king and give you dominion in a very specific realm in His kingdom. This honour He gives to those who overcome the attacks that the god of this world hurls at them and who have kept their faith and joy in the God of their salvation.

There is a key that Jesus has hidden in the Scriptures that unlocks this crown and this crown He calls joy or rejoicing. When you love and rejoice in the Lord while suffering adverse circumstances you bring Him the highest honour and praise possible. This does not go unnoticed in the realms of heaven. It causes the eyes of the Lord and everyone else to focus on you. Even angels marvel when they see how you love the Lord despite your suffering.

From the Lord to you …

“My beloved one, don’t ever limit your joy or fail to rejoice in the wonderful experience of knowing Me as your Lord Jesus! My dear and precious friend, whom I deeply love, you have truly become My glorious joy and crown of reward. Now arise in the fulness of your union with Me.

Be cheerful and joyfully celebrate every season of your life. Let joy overflow, for you are united with the Anointed One! Be gentle in all your relationships with people, for I Am ever near.

Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Saturate yourself in prayer through each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell Him every detail of your life, then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will make the answers known to you through your fellowship with Me.

Keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honourable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising Him always, and the God of peace will be with you in all things.

You are a part of the colony of heaven on earth so cling tightly to your life -giver, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transfigure you into the identical likeness of His glorious body. And using His matchless power, He will continually subdue everything to Himself.”
