Have you ever come to a place where your mind just shouts, “Stop! Take a break! Slow down! Don’t know what to think! Which way are we going?”

Well, that happened to me this morning. I opened The Cheerful Battle 2 to see the next question and realized that I would have to write a book just to answer all the questions for myself, never mind write a blog! Hebrews 12:12 has too many questions to answer so for now you will have to ask the Holy Spirit to give you insight into all that stuff! 😊 Maybe He will give me an opportunity to make a series out of that alone. Even so, please revisit that Scripture and see how many questions you can answer. (Homework for the weekend 😂😂)

Ephesians 1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realm with every spiritual blessing in Christ.

What and where are the heavenly realms and what blessings are there for us?

For a very simple answer the heavenly realms are the realms that are INVISIBLE to our physical eyes but are just as real none the less. Just because you cannot see something does not mean it does not exist. Even in the physical realm there are many things we cannot see without the help of microscopes and telescopes. We don’t say these things don’t exist just because we cannot see them.

It is the same with the heavens. They are just as real, more real in fact, as our natural universe. They are seen and accessed through your soul, primarily your imagination, and your spirit. Please note: The kingdom of heaven is WITHIN you and all this stuff takes place in your brain! Your soul is the connection between heaven and earth. Everything happens from within your heart, the most central place within you, from where YOU live YOUR life. Truthfully, you actually enter heaven more than you may be aware of.

Every time you go to pray, and your thoughts and imagination are turned towards the Lord and you “see” Him in your minds eye, you are seeing into the realm of the spirit. Your vision may be less developed than someone else’s, but that’s okay. The Lord leads each person into His kingdom, in His way and as He opens your eyes. Turn to Him in faith, through thoughts that are willing to believe and trust that He is there, and when you imagine Him, or the Father, or the Holy Spirit, move towards them in your imagination and follow Him. If you see something, NOT DEMONS AND DARKNESS, go an explore. Be a child enjoying the outings with their dad/mom.

In the heavenly realms you will find all the spiritual blessings you need. Everything here is “Yes” and “Amen.” When you ask, He answers. In this place you will find that He is always with you, always for you and always close to you. He lives in your heart and in this place, there is nothing but love and peace and joy. All the knowledge that you need for life and godliness in this world is found inside of Jesus – in His kingdom.

The spiritual blessings that are yours in the heavenly realms are KNOWLEDGE. It is a revelation of some truth that is in Him that is relevant for you. The kingdom of heaven is manifest here on earth in the form of wisdom, knowledge, understanding, counsel, power, the fear of the Lord and the spirit of the Lord. These are the blessings of the heavenly realms and they are there, before the throne of God (which is IN you), to help you in your life and in becoming a fully matured son/daughter of God. There are other beings in heaven – angels, etc, – that are also blessings that have been given to you to help you.

The Father, the Lord, The Holy Spirit, and everything that heaven has is focused on YOU. You are heaven’s attraction and everyone and everything in heaven is waiting to be of service to you. Heaven believes in you and has faith in you. How about taking some time to believe in yourself and to have some faith in yourself? You are not a grubby little worm; YOU ARE THE CHILD OF THE MOST HIGH GOD AND HIS MAGNIFICENT CREATION! Nothing in all of creation compares to the majesty and glory of what God is doing in you and in His Church.

I dare you to go and look at what Jesus looks like now, in heaven, and then look at yourself because you look just like Him. What do you look like?
