The Highest Throne 3
Jesus has a greeting that He uses when He comes to visit with you and it is, “Grace and peace to you.” Paul, in his letters, just like John, opens his letters with, “Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.”
Whenever you want to engage with the Lord concerning anything always remember He extends His hand and His heart to you, with this same welcome. “Grace, which is all that I AM I give to you, and peace, there is no anger or harsh judgement and criticism here towards you.” He always invites you in to come and share His bounty with Him.
Jesus and the Father take great delight in sharing their kingdom with you. Anytime you turn your eyes toward them, they are ready and waiting to welcome you in. Knowing this and remembering this is vital if you want to understand the Revelation of Jesus. He is NOT waiting to pounce upon you and to dive into your sins so that He can deal with you and your ungodly ways. He is waiting to show you the riches of His grace which by their very design will purify you from all sin.
Together with grace and peace is knowing that Jesus is the One who constantly loves you and has loosed you from your sins by His own blood and that He has placed you in a position with Him in heaven where you serve as a priest and a king before the Father. As you enter His kingdom by glorifying Him through thanks and praise, He comes.
In Rev 1:7 it says that Jesus comes with the clouds and every eye will see Him. Firstly, the word “comes” is a present-tense-reality, not a distant one. It can also be translated as “He is now coming” or “He is in the act of coming or continues to come.” The “coming” or “appearing” of the Lord is not some distant event commonly called “the Rapture.” He is appearing and unfolding the Revelation of who He is and who YOU are, right here, right now. His “appearing” unfolds within you and His glory increases in you as you grow up before Him through that which He reveals about Himself to you.
Therefore, be vigilant, be expecting, be hopeful and above all be excited about all that He desires to reveal to you about Himself and the wonderful things that He has called you to do as a priest and a king in His Father’s kingdom.
What about the word “clouds?” It says that He appears by means of clouds, or with clouds or between clouds. The “clouds” represent the Church of Jesus Christ. He appears, or is made manifest, in, through, and upon His Church. Look at Ephesians 1:17
I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, (or the glory of His inheritance in the saints). I will give you more Scriptures at the end of the blog.
We are the GLORY of God in the earth and He reveals His glory in us when we worship Him and give Him all glory, honour, power and praise.
Now, as you worship and honour the Lord in your own heart or inner being, Jesus begins to appear and make Himself manifest to you. The Book of Revelation is about the appearing of the Lord to you, to where you can see Him, hear Him, feel Him, taste Him and smell Him. Heaven is a glorious place and it is here in His presence before the THRONE of God that He transforms you into His image. As you focus your heart and soul, your thoughts and emotions, towards Him, He reveals Himself and all that is in heaven and earth to you.
The end of His Revelation to you will culminate in the physical resurrection of your body from the dead and your eternal reward and position in Him. Heaven will be on earth and a New Age in which we are fully complete in Him will begin. What an exciting, glorious hope He has set before us.
I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, would give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation so that you may know Him better through your experiences with Him as He appears to you.
