When You Can’t’, Ask!
You know those times in your life where you know you should be spending more time with the Lord, or you need to step up your faith, but you just can’t seem to get there? I’m not talking about sinning or bad stuff, just the normal things you desire to do with God.
Well, take a deep breath and get ready because … You CAN’T!
Yes, I said the word CAN’T. You CANNOT do ANYTHING without the anointing of God’s grace. In everything you do with God, you need grace! Grace is God’s anointing through His love and favour upon you to “DO” the things of heaven.
So, the next time you feel like you can’t seem to get off the ground ask for grace. Jesus said the Father would give you anything you ask for IN His name and He would DO it for you.
Simply close your eyes, step INTO Jesus by faith and you will have stepped into His grace. Stay there until you become aware of Him and then “do” what comes naturally to you while in this “place” called “IN HIM.”
Follow the same principle when it comes to faith, or love, or any other thing you feel you should be doing but have not had the strength to do. IN HIM you will find everything you need to overcome the resistances you face in your daily life. When you feel you are being resisted through those little words “I can’t,” slip into the secret place and you will find you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you!
