Wrapped Up!

Are you aware that the earth is full of the Lord’s unfailing love? When you look at all the things that are going on in the world, the pain, the hate, the suffering, it is hard to see love. As I thought about this scripture and then looked at the darkness of this world, I could not see His love. Most people don’t and that is why the question so often arises,

“If God is love and He loves us so much, why do all these terrible things happen?”

Before you carry on reading this message I want you to close your eyes and visualize the Lord wrapping His arms of love around you like a warm blanket on a dark and wintry night. See His love and warmth and let yourself fall into His arms. He loves you so much. See Him and respond to Him.

Then the Lord arrested my thoughts. He said that He said, “The earth is filled with His unfailing love, not the world! There is a difference between the earth and the world. Jesus Himself said the world would hate us just as it hates Him. He is not the God of this world, Satan is, and it is because of Satan that the world is so full of hate, and pain, and suffering. But, when you consider the earth it is a different matter.

The earth belongs to the Lord and everything in it. When you look at the beauty of creation, the mountains, the rivers, the valleys, the sea, the sun, moon and stars you will begin to see and understand the love of God. When you meditate on the greatness of His creation you will hear creation speak of His goodness, faithfulness and love. He created all this for us to know and understand Him.

Also, the more you behold the beauty of creation the more aware you become of the glory of His most prized creation, which is humanity. When you see people through the eyes of God’s goodness and mercy, love for others takes hold of your heart.

The next time you find yourself wrapped up in the pain and suffering of this world, stop, remove the worlds blanket from your shoulders and wrap yourself up in the blanket of His unfailing love, you will be amazed at what a difference visions of God’s goodness will make in your life.

Be loved and encouraged! 🤗🤗
