Christmas Victory!

Did you know that there were wonderful celebrations of Christmas in Baghdad, Mosul and other towns in the heart of previous ISIS strongholds! Baghdad has erected an enormous Christmas tree and has been celebrating since 2014. (Image above)

The glory in all this is that the Church of Jesus Christ is alive and in a place where Satan sought to conquer and destroy Christianity through displacement and martyrdom, the symbol of the Christmas tree, one of our great Christian symbols, stands, loudly declaring and celebrating the birth of JESUS CHRIST. What a victory!

As the Church we have one mission in life and that is to establish the kingdom of God in the earth. We are to tear down the strongholds of the enemy, to uproot what he has planted, and to plant righteousness. God calls US trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord and what a great and glorious symbol the Christmas tree is. It shouts to all the world that the Christian Church is alive, and our God is the God of all Gods!

Please don’t be blinded by the propaganda of the world and the news media. Satan is called the prince of the power of the air and he uses the airwaves with great skill to lie and deceive, and if we, the Church, are not alert we will be blinded to the truth that is in Jesus. We saw the atrocities that were committed against our brothers and sisters and cried out for them. Yet, in the midst of the outward destruction of ISIS the power of Christ was being made manifest. Did it cost the lives of believers? Yes. But in the shedding of our blood the gospel rises higher! Every time Satan kills someone that belongs to Christ, his defeat is intensified, and the victory of the Cross and the kingdom of God is increased and glorified!

We are NOT a defeated Church! We come from Mount Zion, the mountain of the Lord! We come from the City of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem! We have myriads of angels that accompany us and celebrate with us! We are the Church of the Firstborn, Jesus Christ our God and King, and our names are written in heaven! Our God is the Judge of all and who lives with those that have been made perfect in Him!

Ours is the NEW COVENANT of which Jesus is the mediator and the VOICE OF HIS BLOOD that speaks better things than that of Abel! His blood cries “forgiveness” to ALL mankind. Grace and peace from God to all men is the message of the gospel. Where Satan shouts loudest, be alert, be sober, be vigilant because right under your feet the seeds of the gospel are being planted and they will become trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord!

In time gone by an ungodly, satanic celebration was utterly defeated by the Church. This celebration on the 25^th December has been uprooted and supplanted by the seeds of the saints when they chose to establish the message of Christ birth, His love and His mercy, to those in bondage to this evil celebration. Today the only celebration that stands is the one that declares Christmas as the HOLY celebration of those who believe in Jesus Christ who have CHOSEN to celebrate the remembrance of His birth on this day.
