Have Your Cake!

As I lay in bed one night I heard the Holy Spirit say,

“You can have your cake AND eat it, you can have your bread buttered on both sides and smothered in jam! I have given you everything you need in multiplied abundance and I am the God of “can,” not “can’t.” Every time I woke up He told me I can have my cake and eat it, and have my bread smothered with butter and jam on both sides.

Imagine, this is the Father’s desire – to smother you with His abundant life and blessing! 😊

God’s nature is one of overflowing generosity. I pray that your revelation of His love, life, favour, and blessing towards you increases in abounding grace. Your Heavenly DAD does not withhold any good thing from you. Through the Holy Spirit He has already given you everything to live a life filled with grace and godliness. All this is made available to you as your knowledge of His goodness and love for you takes a hold of your mind and imagination.

The reason why we so often fail in walking in all that He has for us is either because we do not understand His love or because we choose not to believe it. Unbelief is the one sin that destroys the life of God within you. Through our own choice we form an opinion about God’s love, His favour, His blessings, and as a result we prevent His abundance from flowing through our lives.

Beware of the voice of Unbelief. He will tell you things like, “You’re not good enough, you’re a failure, you have too many sins, you’re not holy enough, you’re fat, you’re ugly, and on and on that condemning negative voice beats like a drum. When you hear it, you know it’s time for war! It’s time to turn towards God and to praise Him for His goodness. It’s time to set your heart on the truth that is in Jesus and to bring down the voice of Unbelief through the encouraging and comforting VOICE of God that strengthens you and blesses you.

John 10:10 A thief has only one thing in mind – he wants to steal, kill, and destroy. But My desire is to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect – life in its fulness until you overflow. (TPT)

Romans 8:32 And God has proved His love by giving us His greatest treasure, the gift of His Son. And since God freely offered Him up as the sacrifice for us all, He certainly won’t withhold from us anything else He has to give. (TPT)

2 Peter 1:3 Everything we could ever need for life and complete devotion to God has already been deposited in us by His divine power. For all this was lavished upon us through the rich experience of knowing Him who has called us by His name and invited us to come to Him through a glorious manifestation of His goodness. As a result of this, He has given you magnificent promises that are beyond all price, so that through the power of these tremendous promises you can experience partnership with the divine nature, by which you have escaped the corrupt desires that are of the world. Now go and eat a piece of cake or smother a piece of bread with butter and jam on both sides and tell yourself that it’s OKAY because God said so!

This is just to get you to see that it is okay to have things in abundance, and to get a different image of God, and to overcome a negative mindset. We have always been told we can’t have these things and the Lord is asking why not? He gave you life to enjoy. (If you do this every day and get fat DON’T blame me 😊)
