Life is but a Weaving
My life is but a weaving
Between my God and me.
I cannot choose the colours
He weaves steadily.
Oft’ times He weaves sorrow;
And I in foolish pride
Forget He sees the upper
And I the underside.
Not ’til the loom is silent
And the shuttles cease to fly
Will God unroll the canvas
And reveal the reason why.
The dark threads are as needful
In the weaver’s skilful hand
As the threads of gold and silver
In the pattern He has planned
He knows, He loves, He cares;
Nothing this truth can dim.
He gives the very best to those
Who leave the choice to Him.

This poem blessed me greatly so I thought I would share it with you. In all the little and the big things in your life, the good times and the bad, all of these are needful and purposeful in the greater scheme of God’s plans concerning you.
Throughout your time on earth God will continue to work in you all that is pleasing to Him, and when all is said and done and eternity stands before you, the Father will reveal the wonder of the creation He made called YOU!
Have a wonderful and blessed day.
