Merry Christmas!
It is with great joy and appreciation that we remember and celebrate this wonderful day we call Christmas. The birth of Jesus Christ was miraculous and glorious and came with the announcement from heaven that there would now be peace on earth between God and man.
He came, the Light and Life of all creation, entering through the womb of a woman into the realm of men. Today He is our resurrected Saviour, the One who forever dealt with and purified us from our sin, giving us eternal life and a glorious hope in the final day in which He will again return, and we will rise from the dead, forever glorified.
Whether or not this was the actual day of His birth is irrelevant, it is the day we choose to celebrate Him and give Him honour for His faithfulness and unending love for us.
