There is a door that Jesus has opened to you which no one can shut. This door is the door to the kingdom of heaven where the Father dwells. Not everyone has access to this door. It is reserved only for those who are born of God. To those who are born again, or “saved,” as we often say, this door will never be shut.

Who will separate you from the Messiah’s love? Can trouble, distress, persecution, hunger, nakedness, danger, or a violent death do this?  For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,  nor anything above, nor anything below, nor anything else in all creation can separate you from the love of God that is ours in union with the Messiah Jesus, your Lord. (Rom 8:35, 38-39) (Personalized)

There is another door which is permanently shut to those who are born of God. This is the door to eternal death. In your life this door is closed and no one and nothing can drag you in there. You do not need to ever fear death for your home is in heaven. Jesus put it this way, “Rejoice for your name is written in heaven!” Heaven is your home and eternal life is your inheritance.

However, to the ungodly, those who consistently deny Jesus Christ as Lord of all, will find the door of eternal death is open to them and the door to eternal life is closed. These two doors are controlled by Jesus Christ alone. These are the doors to life and death and every person gets to choose which door they want to go through. Jesus opens and closes these doors in accordance with a person’s sovereign will.

Throughout a person’s life the Holy Spirit is always present and always calling their thoughts towards Jesus Christ and eternity. He will use visions, dreams, sickness, saints, angels, creation, circumstances, and death so that they can hear His Voice and see His salvation. No one dies with the excuse of, “I did not know.” God is not unjust. He is loving and tender towards everyone and desires that everyone be saved, however, He will never override or violate a person’s choice. He died for all, but only those who call on His name will be saved – find the door to eternal life.

For God’s wrath is being revealed from heaven against all the ungodliness and wickedness of those who in their wickedness suppress the truth.  For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God himself has made it plain to them.  For since the creation of the world God’s invisible attributes—his eternal power and divine nature—have been understood and observed by what he made, so that people are without excuse For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him. Instead, their thoughts turned to worthless things, and their senseless hearts were darkened. (Rom 1:18-21)

These doors are within every human being. Here Jesus stands and knocks. He calls and waits until there is a reply. If a person opens their heart to Him, then He will open the door to the kingdom of heaven for them and give them the gift of eternal life with the Father.

The door is open, come on in. 😊

The war between the saints and the ungodly is increasing. Thank you for subscribing. If you have not subscribed (link below the blog), please consider doing so. It’s free and it will keep you connected and encouraged. As FB algorithms and other controls become more censored it may become more difficult for the saints to communicate with each other. Sardis 20

The angel over the church of Philadelphia carries the message, or revelation, of Jesus as the One who is Holy, the One who is true, and who holds the key of David. What He opens no one can shut and what He shuts no one can open.

The Atmosphere

As I sat staring out the window on our way back from Johannesburg I found myself thinking about the air that I could not see and wondered what all was out there in this invisible world that I could not see with my natural eyes. I thought about the air around me filled with all kinds of things besides oxygen. There’s water, sound waves, light rays, and a host of other things. Then I heard these words come up from deep within me …

Jesus says, “I know what you have done!”

What was the first thought that came to your mind when you read those words? Did they produce confidence and peace towards God, or did they make you want to cringe? For many saints, the later would be their reaction.
