The Cheerful Battle! 2

As Christians we have the most unique and amazing call upon our lives, and this is to join Him in His conquest to win the world!

The Lord encourages us to put on our armour because we are going to war. He is the Captain of the hosts, which includes all the angels as well as the SAINTS – that’s you! This means times of wonder and awe will be experienced by those who have joined Him as well as an abundance of provision, healing and deliverance.

There is one thing though, in order to join the Lord in His battle to win the world and to restore all things back to Himself will require you to lose your life and take up His. This does not mean quitting your job and going into “ministry”. You are in the ministry right now, right where you are. In the place you find yourself now is the place where Jesus has positioned you and given you the command to bring heaven to earth. The people that are around you are your MINISTRY. Your assignment is to bring the kingdom of heaven down to earth for them.

When it comes to the battle though Jesus said some very strange things. I’m going to give a few Scriptures which I really think we need to explore.

John 18:36 Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jews. But now my kingdom is from another place.

Question: If His kingdom is not of this world on planet earth, where is it? Whose world or kingdom was He dying for? Where is this other place or world that Jesus is talking about?

In the Book of Matthew Jesus constantly talked about the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN. He used parables or earthly stories to reveal the reality of the kingdom of heaven. Mark, Luke and John use the words “the kingdom of God” as He revealed the reality of who the Father is and the reality of His kingdom.

John 3:3 In reply Jesus declared, “I tell you the TRUTH, no one can see the KINGDOM OF GOD, unless he is born again.”

What does it mean to be born again and what does that have to do with SEEING the kingdom of God or heaven? Who are these “born again” people?

Philippians 3:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence we also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Who are we talking to in heaven? “From whence” means from which or from heaven we also look for the Saviour. What is “our conversation in heaven?” Who are we talking to and what are we talking about? If we are looking FOR Jesus, then He is not the one we are having conversations with. Who are we talking to?

Hebrew 12:12 but you have Mount Zion, to the heavenly Jerusalem, the city of the living God. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the judge of all men, to the spirits of righteous men made perfect, to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

When do we come to Mount Zion, now or when we die and leave this planet? Where and what is Mount Zion and the heavenly Jerusalem? When did you come into the presence of thousands of angels and who are the “church of the firstborn?” When do we come to God and when do we come to judgement? What is His judgement? Who are the “spirits of righteous men made perfect?” What does “mediator of a new covenant and His blood mean and what does it do?

Ephesians 1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realm with every spiritual blessing in Christ.

What and where are the heavenly realms and what blessings are there for us?

Ephesians 2:6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.

Where are we seated and what does this seat look like? When do these things become reality to us – now or when we die?

Ephesians 3:10 His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, according to His eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.

What is “the manifold wisdom of God” that WE, THE CHURCH, are supposed to be making known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms? And who are these “rulers and authorities?”

And finally, back to the reason we need to put our armour on …

Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

I invite you to join me on my next enchanting journey to explore the realities of the kingdom of God and your exciting involvement in it.

Be Blessed and Be Happy! 😂😁
