The Glory of Revelation
The glory of God is found when His truth touches your heart and strikes your mind with His light. Understanding God comes when you are willing to learn meets revelation. As your heart is touched by His truth your mind begins to understand His ways and His voice becomes clearer.
The revelation of Jesus enables you to interpret dreams, have visions, to understand and teach heavenly truths. As you sit at the feet of the one who is The Word of God, you will find you have more questions than answers, which puts you on the most enchanting journey with the King of the Universe.
It is only the Holy Spirit who can unveil and reveal the glory of Jesus Christ to you. As we continue our journey into the mysterious secrets Jesus has so cleverly hidden in His beautiful gospel – the Revelation of Jesus Christ – I pray that your heart would be inspired to love Him more. The central truth hidden in this wonderful Book is “Christ in YOU, the hope of glory.” (Col 1:27)
The Book of Revelation is full of symbols, metaphors, and intriguing insights into the heart of our God -YHWH. His Words will raise you up beyond the veil of this earth into the Holy of Holies where your Father is seated upon the throne of majesty and power.
There are so many truths, which are His doctrines, hidden deep within the symbols and metaphors and as you gaze in wonder upon His Word, you will see His face and He will become your Magnificent Obsession!
There are many levels to understanding God’s Word. In the hidden mysteries of Revelation Jesus calls you to dig deeper and to search the meanings behind the words, the symbols, the metaphors, the poetry, and the figurative language until you see His face shining upon you and you hear Him call you upwards to where He is seated at the right hand of the Father.
The Book of Revelation is not something that can be described – it is discovered.
God takes great delight when He sees you seeking to know Him with all your heart. You become like a king in His eyes, for God conceals the Revelation of who He is in the hiding place of His glory. And He has given you the honour of seeking Him out.
The Revelation of Jesus Christ is also the revelation of YOU. Through His Words He comes riding into your life like a knight in shining armour to conquer and bring to naught all that is linked to sin and death within you, until He has transformed your inner world into the full wonder and glory of the Garden of Eden. This is about your transformation into His image and your victory over sin and death. He is establishing the kingdom of heaven within you.
The end of the world as we know it is not about the destruction of the world and the evildoers. It is about God’s salvation and renewal, for the Lamb of God has won and so have you! Yes, you will pass through tribulation, tests, and trials, to enter the kingdom but you do so with the love and power of the blood of the Lamb, through which you have been forgiven, by holding onto your testimony about who you are as a child of God, and by giving up your life to allow His life to be revealed in and through you.
As we learn to conquer sin and death within our hearts and minds, we will also overcome them in this world. Ultimately the saints – you and I – will bring heaven to earth where there will be no more sorrow, no more pain, no more sin and no more death. Our resurrection from the dead will bring in the glorious eternal reign of Jesus Christ and His Beloved Church and as it is in heaven, so it will be on earth.
You have been called with a high calling. Jesus calls you to sit with the Him on His throne in glorious intimacy, power, and authority. I pray that the Revelation of Jesus Christ will continue to grow like the rising of the sun within you.
Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus!
