Ephesus 19

Now, I’m not quite finished with the Tree of Life and its twelve fruits! 😊 Today I want to explore the number twelve and its mysteries in Scripture.

1 Timothy 3:16 Beyond all question the mystery of godliness is great: He appeared in a body, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.

Colossians 1:27 To them (the saints) God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Jesus and His relationship with His church is a mystifying mystery. The unbelieving world is clueless and cannot understand this mystery as it is only discernible through the Spirit. Many believers also see it as a mystery, but I believe this is simply because we are taught a primarily earthly, temporal, worldly gospel and not the glorious eternal, immortal, invincible, invisible, heavenly, gospel. For many years this was true in my own life and teaching too, however, since the Lord started taking me heavenward this glorious mystery is the most exciting adventure I have ever been on! Welcome to the adventure!

To partake of the knowledge, sounds like eating from the Tree of Life, you must be born of God. The Holy Spirit abides in the heart of a saint, which is you (You most holy one!) and He is the One that reveals the mystery of who Christ is and how the kingdom of heaven operates IN YOU. Please note, neither I nor anyone else can reveal this mystery to you. All a minister can do is point you in the direction of Christ, but thereafter you follow Jesus and Him alone.

All the symbols, names, places, and numbers in the Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ are mysteries. They are not physical or earthly, they are heavenly. If you take one set of numbers or symbols and make them an earthly reality, then you would have to make all of them earthly realities. What would you then do when a physical alien from another realm looking like a dragon with seven heads appeared and says he wants to rule over you? The whole earth would gather together to annihilate such a creature.

However, in the realm of the imagination, we have no problem with the existence of such creatures. We know demons exist, but they are far less frightening in the imagination than they are in the natural. In the imagination, or the soul, which is a spiritual realm we (in this series) call the second heaven or heavenly places.

In Revelation Jesus reveals Himself to us, shows us our enemy, gives us the battle plan, and then gives us awesome eternal rewards. He crosses the divides between the spirit, the soul, and the body; the spiritual heaven where God is, the second heaven where spirits interact, and the third heaven being the earth.

Notice the following factors in 1 Timothy 3:16. A body, The Holy Spirit, angels, preaching, nations, and glory or rapture. All this forms a beautiful tapestry of mystery as they intertwine with each other. This is the mystery of Christ and His church. This is the mystery of Revelation.

Okay, so I haven’t started with the number 12 yet. You will have to join me tomorrow 😊.

Have a wonderful day.
